We’ve had a rare, quiet weekend at home this week. Saturday we walk in to town and did a bit of shopping, I came home with a dressed crab from the fish mongers and a ham hock from the butchers. The crab went into a crab linguine for Saturday’s evening meal.  Most of sunday was spent in the kitchen. I baked bread and for sunday lunch I cooked the ham hock with leek and potato mash and carrots. The ham hock recipe is on my food blog here.
