We spent the morning bathing in Saturnia’s hot springs. Once you get used to the sulphuric smells (think rotten eggs) these waterfalls form natural hot (37C all year round) springs which are very relaxing to sit in.
After we’d changed in to dry clothes we drove to Pitigliano for lunch and a wander round its maze of alleyways.

We spent most of the day on the beach (La feniglia). It was a beautiful walk to the beach from the car park, along tree lined paths.
Once we’s had enough of lounging on the beach we drove to the near by port of Porto Ercole.

Today we made the 3 hour drive south of florence to stay in the heart of the Maremma (relatively undiscovered southern Tuscany). We stopped off for lunch at a beautiful little town called Scansano.
These following photos are taken at the B&B we stayed at. The views were amazing.

Our last day at the villa with our families both they flew home and we travelled further south for our honeymoon. The morning was glorious but in the afternoon there was a big thunder storm. We spent a good while sat on one of the terraces watching the storm pass across the valley before it reaches us. I tried to photograph the lightning but never managed. I like the rain cloud in this picture I took though.
